Dave Cuthbertson
Dave has been the pastor of Horsepasture Christian Church for 27 years. He grew up in Oakwood, Virginia and attended Roanoke Bible College (now Mid-Atlantic Christian University) and earned a Masters Degree from Kentucky Christian College. He has served churches in Tidewater, Grundy, and Charlottesville, Virginia, and is a past president of the Virginia Evangelizing Fellowship (now WayPoint Partners). Dave and his wife Linda have two sons.
Youth/Associate Minister
Kyle Thompson
Originally from Wake Forest, NC, Kyle graduated from Johnson University in 2007 with a degree in Youth Ministry/Preaching. He and his wife, Hannah, along with their four children recently moved to Horsepasture to serve as our Youth/Associate Minister. Kyle’s primary focus is ministering to teens and young adults to help them grow in their faith and to prepare them for living active Christian lives.

Jessica Lovell
Jessica grew up in Horsepasture, Virginia, graduating from Magna Vista High School in 1996 and Patrick Henry Community College in 1999. She will oversee our ministry to children ranging in age from birth to 5th grade. Jessica and her husband, Jim, have a son and two daughters.
